  When it came time for our child to start preschool, my wife and I looked at a number of different organizations. The first time we set foot in MMA, it clicked and just 'felt right'. The children, the teachers and the building seemed to be out of a dream. Maybe that sounds over the top, but for us it is truly how we felt. Our son is a bright and inquisitive kid who truly loves learning. But, at only 3 he was very young and had a difficult time starting the school year and leaving his comfort zone (at home with mom). There was some crying and rough mornings where he did not want to go to school. However the staff is 10/10 and clearly made sure he felt welcomed and safe. The teachers nurtured and guided him to find his own way. Eventually he began taking a huge interest in his work and before we knew it he LOVED being at MMA. The changes and growth we saw during this time was monumental. By the end of the school year he was transformed into an entirely different boy with newfound confidence. Now, he truly can not wait for the school year to begin again. We were looking for a preschool and instead found ourselves part of the MMA family. We had no idea Monmouth Montessori would change our son's life AND ours. Many of the parents here have similar mindsets and interests - some may become our lifelong friends. After referring other people and learning it wasn't a fit to their needs - I fully acknowledge this school is unique and not for everyone. However, MMA is perfect for our little family. A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the entire MMA staff. We are so genuinely grateful to have found our way here.
